This Privacy Policy is designed to explain what type of information Relaro Medical Trials, LLC (collectively “Relaro Medical”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, how it is used, and with whom and under what circumstances it will be shared. This Privacy Policy replaces any previous notices provided to you by us about the privacy, security and protection of information. In the policy, the pronouns “you” and “your” are used to refer to the end user.

Collection and Use of Information


We collect information about you from the following sources:

  • From communication with us or with companies through which we provide you products and services.

  • Indirectly from You, such as by observing Your activity when receiving, using or accessing our services

- Personally Identifiable Information

Such information is obtained when you use our website or it is submitted by you, and is subject to the provisions set out in this Privacy Statement.

 

We collect and process the following information (including your personal data, which directly or indirectly is individually identifiable of you):

  • Unique identifiers, such as your name, date of birth, postal address, online identifier, telephone number, e-mail address or other similar personal identifiers.

  • Protected classification characteristics under applicable laws, such as Your age, race, ancestry, national origin, health or medical condition, physical or mental disability, sex (including gender, pregnancy and related medical conditions), genetic information (including familial genetic information).

  • Protected health information (PHI) included in medical records.

We may use this information as part of our studies, to respond to requests for information, communicate with you for marketing, newsletters and company updates and/or to contact you and provide you with information about our products. We may also request that you provide us with demographic information (such as gender and age) or other information such as medical condition or treatment information that we would associate with your personally identifiable information and which we could use to help serve you better. Relaro Medical never shares or sells your personal information with any company or organization. From the time of your entrance into a clinical trial, you will only be identified by initials and a unique number to parties outside of Relaro Medical that are participating in the conduct of the study. Your non-identifiable medical information will be given only to the sponsor of the trial and their employees or contractors and will only be used for study purposes.

 

By registering with us, you give us permission to contact you, using the contact information given, regarding enrolling studies that may be of interest to you, based on the data that you provided. We may contact you in the future when we find one or more studies that we feel may be of interest to you, or a study for which you may qualify. The information submitted by you is safely stored in a secure database that is protected from unauthorized access.

 

- Non-Personally Identifiable Information
We may also collect non-personally identifiable information (information that does not identify to us a specific individual) relating to such matters as: the number of visits to its website, the number of visitors to each page of its website, the Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of its visitors and the time spent on our website.

 

We use this information, in aggregate form, to understand how our visitors use our website so that we can make improvements. We may also use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our servers and for purposes of system administration.

Minors

Relaro Medical does not knowingly collect any information from anyone under the age of 18, nor does Relaro Medical knowingly market its website to anyone under the age of 18. However, we do collect information regarding minors with the permission from their parent/guardian. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

You may request that your personal information be deleted, you may continue to receive materials for a short period while we are updating our lists. Your records will then be permanently deleted from our systems.
